Can I record from my iPhone directly to Planck SSD?
Yes! You can record stunning Apple ProRes video at up to 4K120 directly to your Planck SSD with an iPhone 15 or later.
How fast is Planck SSD?
Up to 1050 MB/s read/write speeds make Planck SSD perfect for lightning-fast transfers and high-resolution sessions.
How does Planck handle heat during use?
Planck stays cool, even during extended use times. To maintain lighting fast transfer speeds, it uses head pads and a built-in heat sink to dissipate heat efficiently.
Can I use Planck SSD with multiple devices simultaneously?
Yes! By pairing Planck SSD with PlanckBank, our compact USB-C hub, you can connect multiple Planck SSDs and even transfer files directly between them.
How portable is Planck SSD?
At just 10 grams, it’s lighter than a single AA battery and 30% smaller than comparable SSDs.
How durable is Planck SSD?
Very! Planck is built from premium aluminum and shockproof PC plastic, making it drop-resistant (up to 10 meters) and water-resistant.
What devices are compatible with Planck SSD?
iPhones (15 and later), Android phones, cameras, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, and more. It’s plug-and-play, requiring no additional software.
Shipping & Delivery
Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges
Do you ship to my country?
We ship to over 200 countries worldwide. If you see your country in the drop-down at checkout, we ship there. If you can't find your country in the drop-down, we recommend having your order shipped to a nearby country and forwarding it on from there.
Do you ship to APO or PO Box addresses?
No we don't ship to military addresses or PO boxes as we employ premium express courier services.
How can I track my order?
Once your package ships, a tracking link will be sent to your inbox within 1-2 business days. Please keep in mind that we cannot directly control the delivery times once the package has been handed off to the carrier.
What to do if my order is returned to sender?
Ack! We’re so sorry your order was returned to our warehouse. The easiest way to resend your order is to have you place a new one. This actually reduces the likelihood of error as a result of manual order attempts or back and forth email communications.
Please reach out to our customer support team at cs@planckgear.com with your order number so that we can refund your order (less shipping costs). We do get charged return shipping charges when the order doesn't arrive, but we’re happy to eat the cost because we want you to receive and love your gear. Let’s try this again!
What if my order is held in customs?
Some countries ask for import duties and taxes to be paid upon arrival of receiving the parcel, which can sometimes cause an order to be delayed.
Generally, the process for customs takes a few days, and the worst case is a few weeks. If you don't see movement on your parcel, feel free to contact our customer support team at cs@planckgear.com and provide us with
It’s been more than 20 days now. I still haven't received my package!
If your package has not been delivered or the status hasn’t been updated after the 20th business day, please reach out to our support team at cs@planckgear.com with your order details.
We will open an investigation claim for your parcel.
Please keep in mind that investigations do take as little as 1-month from the day the claim has been opened to hear back on a solution.

Customs Duties and Taxes
Latest news: As of May 14, 2025, all U.S.-bound orders may now be subject to 30–50% import duties due to new tariff regulations. Please note that customs duties and taxes are not included in the retail price. You may be required to pay import duty/tax upon the product's delivery, depending on your country's tax and customs policies.
EU:
Duties and taxes are already included at checkout. Your order will be shipped as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), so you won’t have to pay anything extra upon delivery.
US:
Taxes are not collected at checkout. Your order will be shipped as DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), meaning you may be responsible for any applicable duties upon delivery.
When will my order arrive?
The processing time for your order depends on several things: the type of order, whether your order is in stock, and when you place it. Please keep in mind, once an order is shipped you can no longer cancel or modify it.
If you wish to add an item to your order, you must place a new one. If you wish to cancel your order, you must follow our standard return policy which can be found here.
What is the delivery time?
We do our best to ship all orders placed before the shipping deadline – Monday - Friday, 5AM GMT– that day. Orders placed after these timeframes will be processed the next business day, which adds one business day to the estimated arrival.
Once shipped, the estimated delivery time of your package depends on the shipping method you choose.
Standard Shipping: 7-14 business days.
Please note that these are estimated delivery times, and actual delivery may vary depending on customs and any unforeseen delays.
What does the term “business day” mean?
A business day is Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays do not count as business days.
Do you have shipping guarantees?
We’re so sorry, but we cannot guarantee that your order will arrive by a specific date. Because of this, we always suggest that you order well in advance. We want you to get your gear on time, so please keep this in mind!
Where is my order shipped from?
All orders both international and domestic are shipped from our warehouse in Hong Kong.
Why is my tracking not updating?
Tracking can sometimes take a few days to update as it passes from one carrier to another.
You can always access the latest tracking status by entering your e-mail and order number in our tracking portal here. If you keep the tracking portal open on a tab in your phone's web browser, you will need to hit refresh to see the latest updated information.
If you think your order may be lost, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team at cs@planckgear.com and provide the details of your order and concern. We will contact our shippers and open an investigation claim for you. Typically, claims can as little as up to 14 business days to hear back on a solution.
During this time, we have to wait before we can send out a new shipment or offer a refund. Oftentimes, packages turn up and are delivered during the investigation process so we appreciate your patience during this window of time.

Do you accept Apple Pay and PayPal?
Yes. We accept a wide range of payment methods; Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, and credit card payment through a trusted payment gateway employed by corporations, such as Lyft, Target, Under Armour, and more.
I'm having trouble with checkout. How to resolve this?
Our apologies for the technical trouble! Here are the instructions to fix the issue:
- Clear your cache. Typically this is CMD+Shift+R or Ctrl+Shift+F5, but make sure to follow that link if you are having difficulty.
- You should now be able to complete your order.
- If that doesn't fix it, use an incognito or private browsing window to checkout again.
If none of this works you may send an email to us at cs@planckgear.com and provide a screenshot of what's happening, this will allow us to get this problem fixed.
Can I change my order?
If you would like to make any changes to the order you have placed, please contact us right away by clicking “Submit a request” on this page or email us at cs@planckgear.com with your order number and the changes required, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Please note that once your order has been shipped, we will no longer be able to edit your order and you will have to follow the instructions to return the products to us and place a new order.

Can I cancel my order?
If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us right away by clicking “Submit a request” on this page or email us at cs@planckgear.com with your order number and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Please note that any orders with discounts applied or orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled. If you no longer need the products shipped to you, please follow the instructions to return the products to us for a refund.

If I open a claim on my package, how long does it take to refund or reship the items?
Please allow 14 business days from when the claim was submitted before hearing back on a solution from our team. We will work as fast as we can with our shippers to try and get an update on your package.
